The government delegation of St. Petersburg headed by Governor Georgy Poltavchenko visited “Diacont” company where they were shown new blocks for engineering and manufacturing, mobile laboratories for diagnostics and renovation of heat supply systems as well as product samples developed in cooperation with the National research university for information technologies, mechanics and optics (SPbNRU ITMO).
The robotic mobile laboratory for diagnostics and renovation of heating systems will be tested on the heat pipe-lines in St. Petersburg this year.
Should the trial be successful the development will save funds in the municipal budget and reduce the fault rate in the heating supply systems.
“Troubleshooting by use of new technologies will help save significant amount in the municipal budget and reduce the fault rate in the systems for heating supply. The laboratory shall be trialed in St. Petersburg this summer. I think that Vodokanal will also get interested in the product,” noted Governor.
Governor Georgy Poltavchenko noted the importance of such high-technological developments in St. Petersburg and promised financing by the authorities.
